December 12th (part one) - SNOW DAY!

Today has been a really busy, but really fun day. :)

So busy (and so many pictures) that I'm going to have to separate it into 2 posts!

The kids and I ate cereal and watched the 'Phineas and Ferb Christmas Special' while Jeremiah slept. When he woke up and saw the snow, he decided that he would use my dad's 4-wheeler with the plow on the front (which my dad said we could borrow!) to plow out our massive parking area. The kids HAD to help with that. :) So I bundled Archer and Robyn in at least 3 layers each + coat (Tanion refused to let me do it - he had to do it himself). They LOVE helping their Dad plow the driveway. :)
DarTanion decided that he wanted to throw snowballs at the 4-wheeler, Archer, Dad, the house, the icicles - basically anything he could without getting in trouble for doing so. He was having a blast!

After the 4 wheeling fun, Jeremiah shoveled while the boys ran around all crazy like. :) They also tried going down the snow hills in the back yard on uncle Jed's snow sleds. Robyn had the most fun on the boys sled that they got for Christmas last year.

Since my kids don't really have actual 'snow clothes', we decided that an hour outside in the cold and wet was enough... DarTanion ran in pouting when the snow hill ride didn't go like he thought it should. Archer and Robyn protested when we told them that it was time to go in. After promises of Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows, Archer caved. He did give 'thumbs down' about it, though. :)
