My baby is WALKING! (Sort of...)

Robyn has recently been using anything she can to get around our living room. She walks along the couches and along the window seal and the entertainment center. She recently discovered the boys table. If it is turned upside down, it works perfectly as a support for her to walk freely. She was cruising all over the living room this morning. :) I was able to take video. Sorry it's sideways...

It's scary and exciting at the same time!

Couple cute pictures...

Since I've started blogging, it's a constant thought in the back of my mind. I think of clever title's for blogs and some of the rambling I would do in it. Sad...

I've also started carrying around my camera - or at least my cell phone which has a camera - everywhere. I take pictures of everything... But I figure if people want, they can see my kids grow up. If they don't want to, then I'm not hurting anyone. SO THERE...

ANYWAY, no cute clever writing in this blog. Just some cute pictures of the kids... :)

Messy face and all - she's cute! :)

Doesn't it look like she's posing?

Spagetti, anyone?

Robyn found a new food that she REALLY likes...

My Calling...

I've finally found my calling in life. :)

HA! Nah, this is a post about my Church calling. I'm the Primary Secretary in my ward and after a month in the calling, I have to say, I'm liking it lots more than I ever thought I would.

Today I was sustained in my position. Also, it was the Primary Program in Sacrament meeting. Jeremiah is out of town. Yeah, if it weren't for my in-laws (THANK YOU Twitch and Sandra!), I would have had Robyn and Archer up on the stage with me, squirming and squealing. But since the in-laws came, I could focus on my Primary Kids. :) They did such a great job. Most of them memorized their little lines and one kid in particular - who is 5/6 yrs old - memorized a 2 minute talk. No paper in front of him or anything. And he did it all without help in front of A LOT of people. AMAZING! :)

ANYWAY, I took pictures of "my" kids to post on here, but thought that their parents probably wouldn't like to just come across pictures of their kids on some random person's blog, so they're not here. Sorry...

BUT I stayed up way late last night making little books for all the ladies in Primary. There are 8 + me! They turned out really cute, so I have decided to show you those instead of my kids... :)

Aren't they fun? I love doing those. They are my "while Jeremiah is at work" project. That and reading Michelle's book. Last night it was these and only these. It took me about 3 1/2 hours... BUT I did watch the Relief Society thingy on TV while doing them, so something productive came out of it.

I am enjoying my calling. I've done more research on the church and primary in general. I read scriptures, pray and listen to Primary Music. Maybe that's why I'm in this calling. I didn't get much of a Primary as a kid and I've never really been the type to sit down and study scriptures (a gasp just escaped from my neighborhood). I'm not the most religious person, but I'm getting better now. YAY FOR PRIMARY!!!

I love Thursday nights again...

I have gotten SO much better than I used to be, but I still have an addiction to TV. Well, more specifically, 2 shows. That are on at the same time. Grey's Anatomy and The Office.

Grey's fulfills the girly side of me that is in love with several different doctors... Ah, McDreamy, McSteamy, Alex and well, Denny. Even though Denny wasn't a doctor, he's still one of the best men that has ever been on that show.

The Office has a little bit of that girly side. I mean, if I could marry any man in the world - hypothetically - it would be Jim Halpert! Not the guy who plays him, but the character. :) He's amazing. I also like to watch it because it makes me laugh that somewhere else is as screwed up as the place I used to work... I feel for Toby (who used to be the HR on the Office) because I can understand having people that you try to get to do the "right" thing and they do the complete opposite...

ANYWAY, both shows came back last night! :)

YAY for new guy on Grey's and Christina! Yay for Denny coming back! Yay for McSteamy and Lexie! (Sorry, couldn't find a video to embed...)

YAY for New HR lady! Yay for Michael and New HR Lady! Yay for JIM AND PAM!!! THEY GOT ENGAGED!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) It's at the end, but if you want to see it, it's worth it. :)

Draysen! :)

Today is my Nephew Draysen's birthday. He's 7!!! I remember when he was born. And I remember how miserable his mommy was. :)

But he's a cutey pie - thru and thru! :) I'd take him on any day as my own. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DRAY!!!

Short, Cute Video

Robyn now gives "Hugs". :) It's mostly when she's being shy or when she's tired, but I was able to catch a moment on my cellphone camera... :) It's an exciting thing, being a mom... :)

Random Bits...

Just a little post to tell you of new decisions made by the Hardman Family, some random things, and share a few pictures...

FIRST: I (Mandy) am going to try and take on 3 extra kids each day (or 4 days per week, ideally) to help supplement our income. Gotta do something and this seems the most logical...

SECOND: I like playing with kids. I had some of our neighbors kids over last night (well, I had 5 extra kids) and it was a lot of fun. Kind of stressful at moments, but all in all, fun.

THIRD: We like living in Provo. More than we thought we would. :) That is good. :)

FOURTH: I like my Primary Calling. :) I really didn't think I would, but it's been really fun playing with the kids and getting to know them better. Plus, Sheri (Primary President) is just amazing. :)

FIFTH: I don't re-read many books. But I am currently re-reading a really good one my friend Michelle is writing / has written. She's talented. Man. :) I'm enjoying that too. Kudos to you, Ms. Michelle! :) :) :)

SIXTH: I take alot of pictures with my camera phone... Enjoy! :)

Yay for School Pictures!

School Pictures are EXPENSIVE!!! I paid $100 for "school pictures" for all 3 of my kids. Yeah - that expensive. But they turned out pretty cute - or atleast I think so! :)

There IS Hope for Humanity!

I haven't posted anything about what my little sister (Colleenia) and her husband have been going through because this blog is a "Happy" blog. It's where I show you all the fun things that me and my family do. But I'm going to now.

My sister's husband (Sean) was diagnosed with Cancer back in April. Since then he's been going thru Chemo treatments every other week. Together, Colleenia and Sean have been putting on a brave face for everyone around them, including their daughter Kaylee - 21 months old. They haven't told a lot of people until recently because they didn't want sympathy. They wanted to be treated like they always have been.

Sean works for a great company which have let him work as much as he feels like he can, when he can. He tries to work every other week (his off-chemo weeks). Colleenia took on a second job, so she works all day on the days she works. She tries to work both jobs on the same day so that when she can stay home, she can spend a whole day with Sean and Kaylee. Not only that, but she sells Avon on the side.

Until recently, they have tried to do everything themselves (as far as paying for things). Generosity from family members and close friends has allowed them to "stay afloat". But every treatment that Sean has, they are responsible for around $1,000 of it (and that's after insurance has paid). When they applied for assistance thru different foundations, they told Sean that since he can still work some that they couldn't help him. (And I know that rules are there for a reason, but can I just say how stupid it is that because he's still trying to work when he can to support his family that he can't get help! GRRR!!)

Well, Colleenia finally admitted that they needed to do something and ask for help and let others in. So yesterday she had an "Avon Clearance / Cancer Bill Help" at my mom's house. It was sort of a last minute idea, so it was totally a word of mouth event. My mom told people she worked with at the Hospital, Colleenia told her friends in Heber and I texted everyone with a cellphone in my phone and sent out an Evite to my email friends. She didn't want to ask for "Donations". She just told people that she would appreciate them looking at her Avon Inventory and purchasing anything that was of interest to them at a discounted price. (My sister had quite a shopping problem when it came to Avon before Sean got sick, so there was a LOT of stuff.)

People filtered in and out of my mom's house from around 5pm to 9pm. A lot of people bought around $12 - $20 worth of products and would donate the rest of the money to Colleenia. Some just brought what they had in money and gave it to her, but she would insist on sending them home with something from her inventory. A lady my mom works with (not directly, but just a lady from the hospital) spent $30 at the party, but gave $50. She also gave an envelope to give Colleenia AFTER the party. My mom opened the envelope as the Open House was winding down and lost her breath. There was a cashier's check for $500 from their family. I can't explain how much excitement and love that brought to Colleenia. That someone who really didn't even know her would be so generous! Just blows my mind... From what we can tell, they didn't want to be recognized publicly, so I'm just going to say it was amazing.

I want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who was able to come and help out my sister and her family. It really does mean so much. It's great to know that there are wonderful people in this world still. I tend to get a little jaded and disenchanted with the world these days, but this brought back some faith. Because of the kindness of Family, Friends and Neighbors, Colleenia was able to earn around $1,500! She is going to probably have another Open House / Clearance in Provo and in Roy. I'll send out the info and if you're interested, you should come. It's great to see that there really is GOOD in this world.

Morning Surprise!

This morning when Jeremiah was leaving to go to work at his Uncle's House, he turned back around and shouted for Archer to come here. Then he smiled and told me I might want to go outside. SO, Robyn and I stepped outside to see a Hot Air Balloon that was seriously RIGHT ABOVE our garage. We could hear the people inside it talking they were so close. So my whole little family (all except Jeremiah in our jammies still) and our neighbors were outside watching this Hot Air Balloon almost land on the road in front of our house (9th East in Provo is a BUSY road, too!) but they made it up again. Then while we ran in our house to put on shoes (and a shirt for Tanion), they landed at the apartment building just off Center and 9th. So, I only got 2 pictures, but you can see that it was pretty close to us... The kids thought it was the COOLEST thing ever. :)

Cards from Social Group

Last night was Social Group and we made some cute cards. I made 4 sets of 4. They are super cute, so I thought I would show you what you missed out on! :)
