Smith-ly Wonderfulnes :)

Sebastian, Tammy, Sherm and Shandy :)

I love the Smith Family (and if you are a reader of my blog, you know that). They are the family that I choose to be a part of. I love them as if they were my own. And today I had the awesome opportunity to go with them to the Mount Timpanogos Temple and see them get little Sebastian sealed to them. :) It was so completely wonderful and I just kept crying the whole time. But how could you not when they let little Ms. Shandy carry Sebastian in to the Sealing Room! It was just this totally amazing wonderful happy event... It made my heart just so completely full. :) :) :)
(I'm still a little glowy from the experience, can you tell!)
Here are some pictures after the event...

Here's a cute picture of my hubby too - had to throw it in. :)

SO Scary!!!

So we are officially into the school routine now and I have to say, I'm a little nervous... Not because of anything the schools are doing but because of DarTanion. The kid no longer wants me to give him a kiss goodbye. Also, I decided to drop him off at school first today (before taking Archer to Springville for Preschool) and he tells me that he'll just play on the playground with the other kids until he sees his teacher open the class. SO BIG!!! Yeah... and independent and sort of responsible and it's just WEIRD! I guess I should get used to it. It's only going to get worse. Soon, he won't need me at all... :(

AND, I have to say, it scares the beegeebers out of me to just leave my 5 year old at a playground at a school... But HE assured me that everything will be just fine...

First Day of School...

Weird.

I'm at home and it's quiet which normally means its either "A" the middle of the night (sometimes) or "B" the boys are doing something they shouldn't and don't want to get caught. It's usually the second one. :) But not today.

IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!
(and Robyn's asleep)

Archer started Preschool today at Hobble Creek Learning Center (I LOVE THEM!). It's where Tanion went last year. DarTanion started Kindergarten at Provost Elementary. Am I seriously old enough to have 2 kids in school??? Well, here are some cute pictures of the event. :)

Seriously, aren't the handsome in their new clothes (that THEY picked out!)

Quick Update on Last Week...

So much can happen in a short amount of time! I can't believe it!

So last week, Angie and I took the kids to McDonald's. Robyn loves ice cream.

DarTanion got a nasty rash (an allergic reaction to something in the basement or walls, we're pretty sure).

Robyn fell asleep WHILE eating her Ramen and Ice Cream Cone. (Isn't that the best dinner?!)

We had racoons on our porch eating the catfood!

I cleaned out our Kitchen Cupboards (think we have enough junk food?!).

My Mandy turned 28! Happy Birthday, Mandy!!! :) Love ya!

Yeah, we haven't changed a bit! :)

Archer met his Preschool Teacher and can't wait! (Sorry forgot the camera!)

AND....

I had our ward's Relief Society Social Group (yay, Bonneville 2nd Ward!) at our house and we had 8-9 people for most of the night. We watched "Penelope" and visited with each other. Great Joke from Monique - How many Relief Society Ladies does it take to change a light bulb? Give Up??? None - we can visit in the dark! :) It was really fun! :) (Sorry for no pictures from the activity; I sent it in the diaper bag with Jeremiah!)

(I loved the wedding dress from the movie!!!)

So yeah, really busy, but really fun week!!! :)

My 5 Year Old Teenager...

DarTanion may only be 5 years old, but he acts like a teenager sometimes. Case in point:

This afternoon we were driving from Walmart to McDonalds to rent a movie (free movies from RedBox on Monday and Wednesday if you are in their text club!!!) and I was flipping thru the radio stations. The Jonas Brothers were on one of the stations singing one of the songs that is featured on Disney Channel (which is a channel we watch CONSTANTLY at our house). I changed the station and he yells at me "Turn it back! I love that song!" so I asked him who it was and he gives me this "duh mom" look and says "Jonas Brothers! Turn it back!" so I did and he started singing along. Yeah. Bad sign #1.

The Jonas Brothers (and little hottie Zac Efron)

We get to RedBox and I let him pick out a movie. He sees Camp Rock (another Disney Channel movie that has the Jonas Brothers on it). He tells me "We have to get Camp Rock! It's like totally cool!" Seriously?! He's using phrases like "Totally Cool" and using the word "Like" in sentences already? Bad sign #2.

THEN, I let him watch Camp Rock. I was in the kitchen cleaning up after lunch and there is a song on and Joe Jonas (yeah, sad, I know their names) is teaching the camp kids a dance or something. Tanion is watching it and trying to do the dance with them. He even had a cool pose at the end. Bad sign #3. (Well, maybe not - I do like guys who can dance...)

You'd think I would understand that he's a teenager stuck in a 5 year old body. The kid does have a beautiful girlfriend who IS a teenager (14 to be exact) and anything she says is awesome or cool or whatever, he will agree. 5 year old boys shouldn't "love" to watch Hannah Montana. But he thinks it's funny because Shandy watches it.

Man. Look out world. When this kid IS a teenager, we're all in trouble. :)

Proof my kids are related...

Last one for today. :) I just wanted to show you a few pictures of my kids from when they were all about 9 months old. It will work as proof that all my kids are related. :)

LAGOON with the Girls! :)

Can I just tell you once again how much I LOVE my girlfriends?

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!
and honestly, you can't beat the "Smith Girls".

My bestest Mandy and her family are my adopted family. I couldn't have a better group of people. :) So we decided that the Smith Girls (like I said, I'm adopted into that family) were going to Lagoon on Saturday and then spend the night together at a hotel in SLC. It was SO much fun. :) Here are some of the pictures...
