Swimming with the Showgren's!

Since DarTanion had been sick with Strep Throat and the flu bug was going around our house, we were all getting pretty sick of being INSIDE. So, when our friends the Showgren Family invited us to go swimming with them (and we were all feeling well!), we were REALLY excited to go! :) Jeremiah had to work, but the kids and I went to Mapleton and had a blast. We had a great barbeque and then went outside to play. Their Grandma's house is BEAUTIFUL!!! She has a big backyard with a fenced-in pool, a great swingset / play area and a ground level trampoline... Here are some pictures from playing at the Showgren Family's Grandma's (totally awesome) house / pool...

PICTURES OF ARCHER MOE...

He is scared to death of being in the water. He will sit on the side and watch everyone or he will sit JUST inside the pool on the steps. I grabbed him and made him go swimming with me. He wouldn't let go and kept crying... So in the pictures where it looks like he is terrified... HE IS!!!
When he is sitting in the hula hoop with the baseball bats, he was singing "Row, Row, Row your boat..." :) No video of that, but know that it was awesome. :)

She is such a little water bug! :) She loved being in the water. But the fact that she missed her nap was catching up with her after a little while... I took her out of her floaty and she kept putting her head on my shoulder, trying to sleep... We got her out, dried her off and let her swing on the swing set and then jump on the trampoline. Sadly, no pictures of the trampoline...

Since we went to Mesquite in April and did lots of swimming, DarTanion now thinks he can swim all by himself. His little swimsuit keeps him afloat, but he is learning to doggy paddle really well. He would swim back and forth across the pool. He was loving it. :)

I also have an 18 second video of him doing a quick little swim...
