Playing in the Mud!

Sorry I haven't written for a few days... You know, the whole Strep Throat / Flu Bug that went around our house sort of put a damper on my uploading pictures and playing on the computer...

Well, LAST weekend was officially the first weekend of summer. On Saturday, Twitch and Sandra came down and worked on the basement. Well, actually, Twitch worked on the basement (Jeremiah works at Okland on Saturdays), Tanion and Draysen played XBOX 360, and Sandra, Archer, Robyn and I went shopping! :) We found some great Grey tile, some shelving and a cabinet at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and got it all for $100 (trust me, it was a GREAT deal!). The tile is going to be used in our Kitchen as the counter top and back splash. :) Then we went to Home Depot and bought some laminate flooring for our Kitchen. It has some really cool purple-ish and brown hues to it. :) I can't wait! :) Then we bought our Carpet for the rest of the basement at Taylor Carpets. Basically, Sandra spent LOTS of money on us. :) Pictures will come when the Kitchen is fully assembled... :)

We had a barbeque Saturday night after Jeremiah got home from work. We had some great Steak, Chicken and hotdogs, some salads, chips, dessert - it was great. Jake and his date came, too. Robyn and Archer decided to play in the mud puddles (from cleaning out the drywall stuff) in our driveway... I have pictures of that! :)

is such a little boy sometimes! :)

We definitely had to give her a bath after playing in all that mud... This is how wonderful her hair is after the bath... :)
